What McClipFace is

McClipFace is a coupon lookup for AI assistants. When you ask your AI assistant for a coupon, or shop at a store, it can look up current coupon codes and deals for that store or product. The codes come from affiliate programs McClipFace has joined, from brands directly and from a licensed coupon data partner. You don’t need an account.

A lookup sends only the store or product name and the currency, never your cart, prices, totals or who you are. Codes aren’t guaranteed: store terms apply and the store’s checkout has the final say. You stay in charge of what you buy.

Get help

Email clippy@getclippy.co with your question. It helps to tell us which AI assistant you use, the store or product you looked up, and what happened. If a code didn’t work or a shopping link was broken, include the store and the code. Please don’t send payment details, order numbers or passwords.

Turn off Community mode

Sharing results is off by default (Private mode), and lookups work fully without it. If you turned on Community mode, which shares which codes worked or failed (the store, the code and the result), tell your AI assistant: “Turn off McClipFace Community mode.” From then on it sends no reports. Lookups keep working the same way. If your assistant asks whether to share a single result, you can always say no.

Remove McClipFace from your AI assistant

  • Connector, app or plugin: if you added McClipFace as a connector (the MCP server at https://mcclipface.com/mcp), remove or disconnect McClipFace in your assistant’s settings, where it lists connected apps, connectors or plugins.
  • Instruction file: if your assistant saved the McClipFace instructions (a folder named clippy-mc-clipface with a SKILL.md file), delete that folder or ask your assistant to remove it.
  • Saved preferences: if your assistant remembered McClipFace answers (such as Community mode or plain store links), ask it to forget them, or delete them in its memory or custom instructions settings.

Once McClipFace is removed, your assistant stops sending it lookups or reports. You can also just tell your assistant you don’t want coupon checks.

Your data and privacy

McClipFace keeps no accounts and no shopping history for each person. To ask about, access or delete information, email clippy@getclippy.co. Because McClipFace avoids account profiles and direct identifiers, we may be unable to find records that belong to you. The Privacy Policy explains what is processed, why, who receives it and how long it is kept. Use of McClipFace is covered by the Terms of Service.

How McClipFace is paid

Some links McClipFace returns are affiliate links. If you buy through one, GetClippy LLC may earn a commission at no added cost to you. You can ask your assistant for plain store links at any time. Details are in the Affiliate Disclosure.
